Do you plan on actually completing this game 100%?
It seems like the game is far too massive for one person to create alone. I myself have tried to create massive projects in the past and it didn’t work out.
Do you plan to sell it?
Forgive me for my negativity but you must understand that I am speaking from my own experience in game design. You should either get help or work on a smaller scale version of the game.
Anyway, I hope you learn much from this project and I will check up on your website every now and then.
Yes, I hope to complete it, although no game is ever truly “complete”. I realize the scale I’m looking at is immense. I plan to use random/procedural generation to make the computer convey the scale, versus just one human. I’ve seen what can be done with this kind of thing, Minecraft and FTL being some nice examples. True, my project is ambitious, but the way I do things is to program small and blast out tons of content using it. I am learning, so we’ll see. I do intend to sell it.
I welcome feedback, so no problems here with negativity. I’m happy to be communicating with someone via my website at all, tbh. Most of the comment emails I get are spam :P.
Thanks for giving me advice. I hope to keep the conversation going.
I have to be honest, I’m surprised anyone reads or follows what I do. That said, I’m happy for it!
I’ve updated the FOTP WIP page with the Pitch Document I’ve made as a guide for myself for the game. It’s written much as a Kickstarter page would be, even though I have no plans to use Kickstarter or similar to fund this. I needed a guide, as previously everything was in my head (and I was beginning to forget things). Feel free to look at it!

Hello,
I tried it out.
I realize it is an alpha so I will hold back all negative feedback.
It looks like it may have some potential but what kind of game will it be?
I have to be honest, I’m surprised anyone reads or follows what I do. That said, I’m happy for it!
