FOTP 10/3/2016 – Sandwhich Carrier
Didn’t get that much done this weekend, but have a few screenshots of the second fully textured ship! This is the Sandwhich Carrier. Yes, that is its final name. There’s also a new way the engine glows are rendered, giving the appearance of diffused light inside them.
FOTP 9/28/2016 (2): Black Hole 2
The Terminus again. Thought I’d grab another screenshot once I finished the black hole visual. Here’s the carrier in orbit of a Terran planet which is in orbit of the black hole.
This is a Terminus Carrier (gee, I wonder if I like carriers?) in orbit of a black hole.
Here’s the Poseidon making use of the weapons system to fire on a Cityship! (Cityship is WIP and not UV mapped, thus the weird texturing)

FOTP 4/20/2016: Beams
FOTP uses a 16-layer system to render beams. This has the effect of making the beam appear to really exist, with each pulse looking like it’s in 3D.
